People in China usually enjoy newly picked tea around this time of the year to celebrate the beginning of spring. Professor Yan Bei and students from UNH Manchester’s Chinese classes and Yuexing Xi, co-Director of UNH’s Confucius Institute, will prepare a variety of teas from China. Members of the UNH Manchester community are welcome to sample some of the best teas from China and play Chinese Mahjong, a traditional Chinese game.
The Confucius Institute at UNH (CI-UNH) is a partnership between the University of New Hampshire and Chengdu University in China that engages the life of the University with the larger community, both locally and globally. The institute offers a full curriculum in Chinese language and culture.
