STUDENT RESEARCH, INTERNSHIP OR STUDY AWAY EXPERIENCE

Kim was actively involved in student goverment and community service throughout her time at UNH Manchester. The communication arts major was an AmeriCorps member at the college and also led four student service trips to Appalachia.

During her senior year, Kim interned with Big Brothers Big Sisters at Greater Manchester.

ONE YEAR AFTER GRADUATION

Kim's internship transitioned into a full-time job: Following graduation, she was hired by Big Brothers Big Sisters as a Program Coordinator. She created a new, site-based mentoring program which brought volunteers into Manchester elementary schools for weekly one-on-one meet ups with their “Littles."

Kim later went to work with a Manchester, N.H.-based experiential marketing firm, where she worked on a creative team developing and implementing mobile marketing strategies for national corporations.

WHERE IS SHE NOW?

Kim went on to earn a master's degree in Organizational Leadership and is now the Director of Marketing & Communication at UNH Manchester.

My time at UNH’s campus in Manchester provided me with an affordable option to earn a highly respected UNH degree.  I didn’t graduate with a significant amount of debt because I was able to live at home and work while taking classes.  This had a really positive impact on my financial future.
