Designed for working professionals, UNH's Paul College offers its Flexible MBA in 3 locations: Durham, Manchester and online, giving students the flexibility to take classes at their preferred location or delivery method. The UNH Flexible and online MBA programs are the only ones in the state to hold the seal of accreditation by the AACSB, the gold standard for business schools.

Instituted in 1996, the part-time MBA program has rapidly grown to become a popular model at the Paul College. Offered on weeknights at the Manchester campus, MBA students learn in collaborative classes that bring together business theory with teamwork in real-world applications.

The part-time MBA is made up of 10 core courses and 6 elective courses for a total of 48 credits. The program consists of five 8-week terms per academic year.

Students enrolled in the part-time and online MBA programs can elect to earn a specialization in one of six fields: finance, information systems business analytics, marketing, global business, growth & innovations, or hospitality management.

Each specialization consists of required electives, as noted below. Students are not required to complete a specialization, and may instead choose to take any six electives that are of interest to them.


  • Required: Corporate Financial Strategy, Investments
  • Select 1: International  Financial Management, Applied Equity Analysis & Firm Valuation, Applied Financial Modeling & Analytics, Financial Innovation & Derivatives.

Information Systems Business Analytics

  • Required: Data Management, Data Mining & Visualization
  • Select 1: Prescriptive Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Applied Financial Modeling & Analytics


  • Required: New Product Development, Marketing Research
  • Select 1: Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, International Marketing

Global Business

  • Required: International Business
  • Select 2: International Management, International Financial Management, International Marketing

Growth & Innovations

  • Required: Management for Growth & Innovation
  • Select 2: Funding Growing Businesses, Leading Organizational Change, International Management, New Product Development

Hospitality Management (Hospitality industry experience recommended)

  • Required: Human Resources Management, Hospitality Operations Implementation, Analysis & Financial Metrics, Hospitality Asset and Financial Management, Hospitality Revenue Management and Pricing Strategies
