The rapidly advancing field of regenerative medicine encompasses a range of new approaches to repair, regenerate or replace damaged tissues in the body—and Manchester has become a hub for bringing these new technologies to patients.
Join us on May 9 at 5:30 p.m. as University of Vermont Professor of Medicine Daniel J. Weiss, M.D., Ph.D., discusses the history and future of regenerative medicine. Recognized as one of the leaders in this emerging field, Weiss will explore the hype behind the science and politics of this transformative industry.
This event is funded in part by the Saul O Sidore Memorial Foundation, which seeks to offer programs to the University community and the state of New Hampshire that raise critical and sometimes controversial issues facing our society.
“Regenerative Medicine: The New Frontier” will be held at UNH Manchester on Wednesday, May 9 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is available on Commercial Street and in the lots surrounding 88 Commercial Street after 5 p.m.
