Stephen Pimpare, lecturer of American politics & public policy, joined Pacifica Radio's "Background Briefing" to discuss the International Monetary Fund's new report on the state of the U.S. economy. Pimpare shares his analysis of the IMF report, which calls for urgency in dealing with growing poverty and increasing inequality through raising minimum wage and offering paid maternity leave and childcare.
