Profile

David Ramsay is a Risk and Compliance Analyst for Wapack Labs, a cybersecurity intelligence firm located in New Boston, New Hampshire.  He consults with clients to analyze current levels of security and to develop new security initiatives and policies to ensure compliance to cybersecurity standards set by organizations such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).  He also assists with cyber intelligence collection and analysis and is a member of Wapack Labs’ Security Operations Center performing network analysis, threat identification and remediation.  Before joining Wapack Labs, David interned at Daimler AG in Stuttgart Germany where he created a framework for developing corporate cybersecurity-focused awareness campaigns ranging from local, national to international in scale. 

David has an M.S. in Cyber Security from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and for his dissertation researched the effects of compliance to national cybersecurity policy on small to medium enterprises, with a focus on the Investigatory Powers Act of 2016 in the UK.  He earned his undergraduate degree in Homeland Security, with minors in cybersecurity and international relations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
