Support & Services

The UNH Manchester Library is the heart of our college community. In addition to the physical and online resources, the librarians, professional staff and student workers contribute to college life and student achievement. Visit the library and learn about all the resources available to help you succeed in college.

Library Services

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is a cooperative program through which libraries make materials from their collections available to other users. UNH students, faculty and staff are eligible to use this service, which allows you to request books, videos, articles, reports and more.

Computers and Printing

The Learning Commons houses desktop computers and offers laptops for UNH Manchester students, faculty and staff to check out. We also provide a Windows workstation for Manchester community members, UNH alumni and other visitors, with a limit of one hour per day for each guest.

All Learning Commons workstations and laptops print to networked printers. UNH students and staff can send print jobs from their personal devices to the pay-to-print system via the website. Networked printers are located on the first floor and in the Learning Commons.

A self-service scanner is located across from the Learning Commons Help Desk. Scans can be saved to USB flash drive or emailed. When emailing, we recommend no more than 25 pages per PDF file.

While UNH Manchester Library resources and collections are primarily designed to support the curriculum of the University, we also provide select services to the general public.

The library offers information resources and limited use of computers to visitors. Certain resources and services are not available to guests, including document delivery, interlibrary loan, off-premise use of materials, remote access to library databases and computing labs.

If you graduated from UNH, UNH Manchester, DCE, CLL, Granite State College, Keene State College, Plymouth State University or Merrimack Valley College, you are entitled to a free UNH library borrowing card. Bring a photo ID and proof of your current residence (such as a license or bill) to the Circulation Desk.

Manchester Residents

If you live or work in Manchester, you are eligible for a UNH Manchester Library community card. With this card, you may borrow books, films, and other materials located at the UNH Manchester Library.
To obtain a card, stop by the library with a valid driver's license and proof of residency or employment.

All services to the local community, including access, may be denied if the librarian on duty determines that it interferes with the University's mission to provide for its students.
