One Year After Graduation

A year after graduation, Mike was working as a production assistant for a TV station in Santa Monica, Calif.

 

Five Years After Graduation

Mike was part of the team at NBC that set up the video distribution service, Hulu. He also helped to develop video web content in the early days of streaming video, and was filming and editing interviews with directors and actors on NBC’s hit shows. Mike's work earned him an Emmy in 2007.

In 2015 Mike became the Lead Product Manager for Red Bull Media House in Santa Monica, Calif.  

Prior to Red Bull he was the Director of Content Operations at Sony Network Entertainment , where he managed a team of 45 people working to secure and manage TV shows, movies and other content for a variety of Sony devices.  

He published a novel, “A Rum Truck,” in October 2014, which is available as an eBook on Amazon. 

“Some of it is timing and to some extent good luck, but I always worked hard when I saw an opportunity I wanted. It’s the best thing you can do to put yourself in the position you want to be in.”

Where is he Now?

In 2016 Mike became the Product Managment Senior Manager at Hulu based in Santa Monica, CA. He also released his second novel, "The Whale in a Cave" in January 2018.
