Robert Arredondo is a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Technology Program at the University of New Hampshire at Manchester. He has held this position since the fall of 2017. Prior to UNH, he held various positions at NHTI – Concord’s Community College in the Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Department. He was a professor for 25 years and held the position of department chair for 14 years. He worked in industry for 14 years at various manufacturing companies holding positions such as machine tool operator, CNC operator, CNC programmer, tool design engineer, mechanical designer, and mechanical engineer. While at NHTI, he developed new curriculum and courses for the Robotics and Automation Engineering Technology and the Advanced Manufacturing Process Technology programs as well as managed several related manufacturing labs.
Dr. Arredondo holds an Associate degree in Machine Tool Processes from the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College (Manchester Community College), a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering both from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He also holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
