1. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid
In order to apply for financial aid at UNH Manchester, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA asks for information about you, the student, as well as your parents' financial situation if you’re considered dependent.
The FAFSA requires information from your, your parents’ and your spouse’s tax return from the last completed tax year. While it is better to have your taxes when completing the FAFSA, it is encouraged that you file an application with estimated information in order to meet the priority deadline. You can then update the FAFSA at a later date using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. You must complete a new FAFSA each academic year to reapply for financial aid.
2. Optional: Complete the Special Circumstance Form
If you believe you have an unusual circumstance that is not reflected on the FAFSA, you may complete and submit the Special Circumstance Form to the UNH Manchester Financial Aid Office.
3. Accept Your Aid Award(s)
Once you have been accepted to UNH Manchester and completed the financial aid process, you will receive an email indicating that an award is ready to view on WebCat. On WebCat, you will see the types of aid that you qualify for. You may accept all, none or a portion of the rewarded aid. Please complete the Award Acceptance form to validate the acceptance of your aid.
