Graduate Student Advising FAQ:

A faculty advisor is a professor assigned to support graduate students throughout their program. They help with course selection, research guidance, and career planning, while also providing mentorship in your field of study.

You can check Webcat to see if an advisor has been assigned to you.

  1. Go to https://webcat.unh.edu/ and login.
  2. Select Student Records
  3. Select View Major and Advisor
  4. Select Current Term

If you don’t see an advisor assigned, you can contact the graduate program coordinator for your department for information about your advisor assignment.

All students register via WebCat. For more information, review the UNH Manchester Registration Office webpage.
