Biotechnology Innovation Center
We’ve transformed our sixth floor into the Biotechnology Innovation Center, a facility for teaching and research in the areas of biotechnology and cellular biology. Students get hands-on experience in state-of-the-art cell-culture teaching laboratory, upstream and downstream processing suites, pilot production laboratory and more—and opportunities for on-site internships and research with start-up biotech firms.

Communication Arts Studios
Our communication arts program offers state-of-the-art sound recording and video production studios, a high-definition editing lab and a digital media screening room with surround sound.

American Sign Language and Interpreting Labs
The ASL and interpreting labs give students valuable practice in grammar, vocabulary and interpreting through communication exercises with members of the Deaf community and certified interpreters.

Biology Labs
Our biology program offers seven state-of-the-art laboratories: general biology, advanced biology, microbiology, general chemistry and organic chemistry, as well as the cell culture research lab and microbiology research lab.

Engineering Technology Machine Shop
Equipped with vertical and horizontal milling machines, a computer numerical controlled milling machine, a lathe, various saws and a disc sander, the engineering technology machine shop gives students hands-on skills in mechanical fabrication and testing.

Our psychology program brings classroom learning to life through applied experiences in our child psychology, sensation and perception and community-based research labs.

Computing Labs
Our computing programs offer lab facilities equipped with the latest hardware equipment and software development tools. You’ll have access to a spacious server room, two server clusters and large labs set up with peer programming and shared learning in mind.

Neuropsychology Lab
In the neuropsychology lab, you’ll delve into the long-term effects of brain injuries and neurological diseases, perform brain dissections to study the physiology of pathological states and use clinical neuropsychology tools to evaluate IQ, learning and memory.

Electrical and Mechanical Technology Labs
Our electrical engineering lab houses 10 uniform stations, each equipped with an oscilloscope, industry-standard CAD software and more. The mechanical engineering lab offers a hydraulic and pneumatic simulation machine, a dynomometer to test thrust for electric motors or rockets and industry-standard measuring equipment for oil and gas facilities.
