In addition to the scholarships listed below, you may also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for federal grant and loan assistance.

UNH Manchester Scholarships
Merit-based awards are only available to students admitted to a bachelor's degree program unless otherwise stated. Applicants must meet the admission deadline to be considered, and recipients must maintain continuous full-time enrollment for renewal of the award each year.
Awards range from $5,000 to $15,000 annually
Full-time incoming freshmen in UNH Manchester's biotechnology, biological sciences, electrical engineering technology, and mechancial engineering technology programs are eligible.

Degree Program Scholarships
UNH Manchester will be awarding a $1,500 merit-based scholarship to a high achieving student enrolled in each of the undergraduate programs at the UNH Manchester Campus. This is a merit-based award therefore applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2, although some programs may have additional requirements. Factors that will be considered include the students' overall level of academic success, the applicant s essay, and resume. Additionally, the applicants' positive engagement in their classes, academic integrity, research projects, and/or professional experience may be considered. Applications are due to the Financial Aid Office by April 1.

This scholarship is awarded to accepted full-time students who are enrolled in an associate degree program and have 24 transferable college credits* and a 3.5 or higher

$5,000 annually ($2,500 per semester)
This scholarship is awarded to accepted full-time students who have completed an associate degree with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
College GPA 3.5+
$3,000 annually ($2,500 per semester)
This scholarship is awarded to accepted full-time students who are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and have 24 transferable college credits* and a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
College GPA 3.5+
$5,000 annually ($2,500 per semester)
This scholarship is awarded to accepted full-time students who are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and have 24 transferable college credits* and a 3.8 or higher cumulative GPA.
College GPA 3.8+
These awards are available to students whose FAFSA information reflects their financial need.
Students must file the FAFSA to be considered for this grant. The award amount varies depending on demonstrated need.
This award assists students with the membership fees required to join a nationally recognized honor society.
The UNH Manchester Books and Supplies Fund was generously established by two faculty members in honor of their parents , Janet Miller Hoey, and Robert and Jean Walsh to help offset expenses related to books and supplies for students enrolled at UNH Manchester.
The amount of the award can range from $100 to $500 per semester. The number of awards offered will vary depending on the number of applications received and the amount of funds available each year.
To be considered for the award, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and provide a summary of their projected costs for books and supplies.
- Fall semester applications must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and a brief application outlining their projected costs for books and supplies to the best of their ability.
- Spring semester applications must complete this form.
The amount of the award is $2,500 for full-time students and $1,250 for part-time students. The number of scholarships awarded each year will be based on University funding. To qualify, you must file your FAFSA before the March 1 deadline. Learn more and apply.
The Harry P. Makris Memorial Scholarship was established for students who demonstrate academic rigor and financial need, and are interested in careers in political science, education and/or public service. The award is $500 for one academic year. Learn more and apply.
UNH Manchester Study Abroad Scholarship
Students must be enrolled in a study abroad program of at least 8 weeks in length to be eligible.
Eligible students must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have earned 26 or more credit hours. Submit your completed application by February 15.

Alice M. Yarnold and Samuel Yarnold Scholarships
With awards ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, the Alice M. Yarnold and Samuel Yarnold Scholarships are available to New Hampshire residents pursuing a degree in nursing, medicine or social work, who demonstrate financial need and scholastic excellence. Military & Veteran Scholarships
The Staff Sergeant Ryan M. Pitts ’13 Scholarship Fund provides financial support to a veteran enrolled in an undergraduate program at UNH Manchester who demonstrates involvement and leadership in the campus community. The fund was established in 2016 to recognize alumnus Ryan Pitts for his contributions both in combat and on campus.
