Resources for Student Success

UNH Manchester has built a student-centered culture to better serve the unique needs and goals of our students. From the first day of class to graduation and beyond, we offer a range of resources, support and services to ensure your student’s success.

Campus Safety

Manchester is the largest city in northern New England, making it rich in culture and real-world opportunities. But we also know that being in a city comes with practical concerns about safety. With trained security officers, regular awareness events and programs like WalkSafe, we’re proud to offer safety programs and services that provide peace of mind both on and off campus.

Student Wellness

Our goal is to cultivate an environment that promotes, advocates for and supports the individual and collective wellbeing of our students. UNH Manchester students have access to a range of mental health services and resources both on and off campus to help foster life skills for a healthy emotional and mental outlook.

Campus Housing

We've partnered with Southern New Hampshire University to offer housing at SNHU, less than five miles from the UNH Manchester campus. SNHU housing features spacious rooms, secure entry, lounge areas with pool and foosball, laundry facilities, dining plans and more.

Parents Ask:

Our career-driven degree programs are designed to give your student the skills and experience to find success after graduation, whether they enter the workforce or pursue further education. Our students complete internships at high-profile organizations (like Fidelity, Make-A-Wish and Elliot Hospital) and pursue high-caliber research that has been published and presented locally and nationally.

Our graduates earn a globally recognized UNH degree and land jobs that earn a median salary nearly four times the annual cost of attendance. Students come to UNH Manchester with a passion and vision, and they graduate with the skills and experience to make their dreams a reality.

Our students make friendships and connections that endure. Students can use their voice in student government, become a tutor and join clubs in arts, academics, athletics or service. Many of our students hold campus jobs, from working with one of our student service departments to serving as a peer leader or tutor. We also offer individualized support to keep students feeling their best in all facets, like tutoring, career guidance, accessibility services, counseling and more.

UNH Manchester is committed to providing students with disabilities a learning experience that ensures equal access to programs, facilities and the full range of student life at UNH Manchester. We offer testing accommodations, communication support, exam proctoring and more. LEARN MORE
