Carol Gay, MA, LCMHC, MLADC teaches in the human relations concentration for the Communications Arts degree. She has taught since 2007 with the following courses: Language & Social Interaction and Communicating in Families. She has created two courses for the department: Relational Violence (which became part of the curriculum) and Communication, Culture, "Drugs" and Addiction (a special topics course). In 2017 Ms. Gay received the UNH Teaching Excellence Award.
Outside of UNH Manchester, Carol is a dual licensed psychotherapist: mental health and an addictions therapist. She works in juvenile justice and specializes in trauma, adolescent development and addictions treatment.
