Dawn Albertson

Dawn Albertson serves as Interim Dean and Campus Director of the University of New Hampshire Manchester. She previously served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, where she provided academic leadership for the campus, overseeing curriculum, academic policy, faculty affairs, and strategic planning.

Before joining UNH, Dawn held academic leadership positions in both the United States and the United Kingdom, including at King's College London and the University of Bath, where her work focused on curriculum innovation, teaching and learning, and institutional transformation. 

Dawn holds a PhD in Cellular and Clinical Neurobiology from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE (formerly the Higher Education Academy) and a U.K. Chartered Psychologist. An active scholar, she is the editor of the recently published Research Methods in Mental Health (Cambridge University Press), former Consulting Editor, International for the Teaching of Psychology journal, and has been invited to speak internationally on curriculum transformation and teaching and learning innovation.

Originally from California, Dawn returned to New England after nearly a decade in the United Kingdom. She is passionate about expanding access to higher education, strengthening partnerships with industry and community organizations, and preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing world. She looks forward to working with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners to build on UNH Manchester's strengths and advance its mission of providing an exceptional, workforce-aligned education that creates opportunity for students and the region.
