Toni King Callahan has studied French, German, and Italian. She has a Master of Arts in German and has spent a year living in Tübingen, Germany, a year living in Avignon, France, and much of her life visiting Italy, living for short periods of time with various families from the north of Italy to Sicily. She taught German and French at St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H., for six years. She has taught Italian in classes or to individuals for 25 years, and has taught Italian at UNH Manchester since 2005.
