Jennifer Higgins Pitre is an accomplished nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of fundraising, with a strong focus on major gifts, campaign leadership, and philanthropic strategy. She currently serves as Vice President of Philanthropy at the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), where she leads the organization’s first-ever fundraising department to expand global education access.

Prior to joining CIEE, Jenn held senior development roles at Catholic Medical Center, Granite United Way, and the University of New Hampshire Foundation, where she led major giving, gift planning, and annual campaigns. In addition to her fundraising work, she has taught courses in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility at the University of New Hampshire, and mentored graduate students in the development of major gift proposals.

A two-time graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Jennifer earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and MBA from UNH. She served two terms on the UNH Alumni Association Board of Directors and currently serves as a Trustee at the University System of New Hampshire. Jennifer lives in Kingston, NH with her husband, Jeff, and their three children — including their oldest, a bioengineering major at UNH.
