Temporary Housing Application for UNH International Graduate Students

Deadline to submit is Friday, January 13

New UNH Manchester International graduate students who have not yet secured housing arrangements upon arrival to the United States can submit a housing application to apply for a 30 day transitional housing plan to live temporarily in UNH Manchester’s residential housing, Downtown Commons location.

Transitional housing is available on a first come-first serve basis and is not guaranteed. Once this housing application is received, students will be notified via email of their transitional housing status within 24 hours of receipt of their housing application.  A $900 transitional housing fee will secure temporary housing through February 17, 2023.

Any student who has transitional housing will need to make arrangements with the Downtown Commons Residence Life staff no later than February 17, 2023, to move out of Downton Commons to not incur additional housing charges.  If a student does not make arrangements to move themselves and their belongings out by February 17, 2023, the student will be charged $2541.00 to their student account and will remain as a resident in the residence hall through the end of the fall semester and will be required to move out by May 17, 2023.

No refunds or adjustments to the February 17, 2023, move out date will be allowed.  Students who would like to secure residential housing in Downtown Commons for the spring semester can make arrangements to do so with the Residential Housing staff and student billing department.

Please refer to the UNH Manchester residential housing page for additional information regarding Downtown Commons amenities and location to downtown Manchester and UNH Manchester. For questions regarding Downtown Commons, please contact Keri McDonough (keri.mcdonough@unh.edu)
