Join us for an evening of refreshments and networking with New Hampshire’s biotechnology community, from industry to academia. Connect with fellow biotech pros and faculty, learn about UNH Manchester’s Millyard Scholars program and hear from UNH’s 2022 Emerging Scientist recipient Kelsie Duggan '20, '21G, biotechnology alumna and gene therapy quality control associate at Sarepta Therapeutics. We hope to see you there.

5:30–6:15 p.m.  Check in, mingle and explore a showcase of UNH Manchester’s Millyard Scholars Program, which provides scholarships and research opportunities to exceptional incoming students interested in careers in biotechnology.


6:15–6:30 p.m.   Welcome from UNH Manchester Dean Mike Decelle ’81


6:30–6:45 p.m.        Presentation by UNH's 2022 Emerging Scientist Award recipient, Kelsie Duggan '21, '22G. Kelsie is an alumna of UNH Manchester's biotechnology master's and bachelor's degree programs and works as a gene therapy quality control associate at Sarepta Therapeutics.


6:45–8 p.m.              Networking and reception with light refreshments. Optional tours of UNH Manchester and our Biotechnology Innovation Center available.

Building a Biotech Workforce

The Millyard Scholars Program is shaping the next generation of biotechnology professionals from biotech, biological sciences and engineering technology backgrounds. Coupled with the mission of the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute and BioFabUSA, the program integrates students with industry and research so they graduate prepared to make a difference in this groundbreaking field.
