David Ramsay is currently a Senior Sourcing and Contract Analyst for Allina Health. He performs data analytics regarding supply chain metrics, sourcing methodology, and analyzes contract and financial data.
He previously worked as a Risk and Compliance Analyst for Wapack Labs, a cybersecurity intelligence firm located in New Boston, New Hampshire. There he consulted with clients to analyze their current levels of security and to develop new security initiatives and policies to ensure compliance to cybersecurity standards set by organizations such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). He also assisted with cyber intelligence collection and analysis as a member of Wapack Labs’ Security Operations Center (SOC) performing network analysis, threat identification and remediation.
David has an M.S. in Analytics and Data Science from the University of New Hampshire, where his research focused on analyzing healthcare data for private hospital systems as well as for government agency use. He also earned an M.S. in Cyber Security from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom, and for his dissertation researched the effects of compliance to national cybersecurity policy on small to medium enterprises, with a focus on the Investigatory Powers Act of 2016 in the UK. He earned his undergraduate degree in Homeland Security, with minors in cybersecurity and international relations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
