Profile

I am a scientist, program developer, and have also been an educator for most of my professional career. My degrees in microbiology and biotechnology have taken me down some interesting paths. I have enjoyed working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Labor, ARMI, Google, Boeing, UNH, SNHU, the University of Maryland, Quinnipiac University, The Citadel and others. I have extensive experience designing and teaching curricula and establishing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs and collaboratives across the nation. I have been fortunate to have been recognized for my role in education. I am a New Hampshire Teacher of the Year, a New Hampshire My Favorite Teacher, and was a national finalist for My Favorite Teacher. In my spare time, I hike, kayak, garden, run, raise chickens, and love reading a good book.
