Profile

Stephanie Kirylych (she/her) has over 20 years of higher education leadership and advising experience. She is currently the Director of Advising at the University of New Hampshire Manchester. Stephanie leads a team of professional advisors supporting undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, she advises students in the Foundations of Success Track. Along her advising role, Stephanie serves as an adjunct faculty member.

In 2023, Stephanie was awarded a Certificate of Merit as an Outstanding Advising Administrator by NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising’s Global Awards Committee. She is an active member of NACADA, serving as a Steering Committee member for the Well-being and Advisor Retention Advising Community, NACADA’s Region 1 Steering Committee (New Hampshire State Liaison), and acting as mentor in NACADA’s Region 1 mentorship program.

Stephanie is a Certified Appreciative Advisor through the Office of Appreciative Education at Florida Atlantic University and a mindfulness teacher-in-training through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults (MIEA).

Fun Facts:

  1. In addition to my work at UNH, I am a holistic health coach and meditation teacher.
  2. I have a rescue dog named Scout.
  3. I love true crime podcasts and crime shows.

  • B.A. in Psychology and Women’s Studies from Elmira College.
  • M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
  • Currently enrolled in the Higher Education, Administrative Leadership doctoral program at Plymouth State University
