Peer and Professional Tutoring

two peer tutors talking

Our professional staff select and train our peer tutors in a collaborative approach that helps students become self-aware, interdependent learners. Tutoring is available in writing and research, mathematics, science and other content areas.

Individual Tutoring

Work with a tutor individually to collaborate on course material and focus on developing your skills and learning strategies that will help you become a more powerful learner. You are welcome to 1 hour of free individual tutoring per week for each UNH Manchester class in which you are enrolled.

Make an Appointment

We offer both in person and online tutoring opportunities. If you are a UNHM student, please visit the CAE MyCourses page to see a list of our current services and/or make an appointment with a tutor!

Class-Link Tutoring

Many UNH Manchester courses are paired with class-link tutors. These tutors are students who have been successful in the same course; they attend the class and provide a peer perspective on the material. Class-link tutors may participate in class discussions, problem solving, activities, and workshopping papers.

The class-links are not teaching assistants. Because they have no authority over the students in the class from a grading or instruction standpoint, class-link tutors can offer students a different perspective than instructors can provide.
