The Applied Engineering and Sciences Department prepares graduates in analytics and data science, electrical and mechanical engineering technology, computer science and information technology. Our students learn to integrate the application of core concepts and practices in their discipline of study to solve complex problems in today's technological world. The City of Manchester and the Concord-Manchester-Nashua corridor extend the department's cutting-edge lab facilities with internship and research project learning experiences sponsored by our industry, nonprofit and government agency partners. The department's talented faculty are active researchers and caring advisors engaged in high-caliber and inclusive teaching, scholarly activities directly tied to student learning, student mentorship and service to the profession and community. The department also enriches the UNH Discovery curricula with BSCI, COMP, MATH and ET courses in the Quantitative Reasoning and Environment, Technology and Society categories.
